I’m a sole trader with a couple of blokes on site – is this overkill?

My main contractor is asking for my SWMS and safety docs and I need them yesterday. Can you help?

Yes. This is one of the most common reasons businesses come to us. We can have a compliant, contractor-ready system in your hands within 7 days, and in most cases sooner if it’s urgent. Get in touch and tell us what your head contractor is asking for – we’ll work backwards from there.

What does this actually cost?

The Tradies Pack is $2,950 + GST as a fixed price, with no hidden costs. You can pay in full or in two instalments of $1,475 + GST, charged via Stripe. Sorted Pro and Sorted Partner are quoted after a short call, because higher-risk operations need a system shaped around their actual work. We won’t quote until we understand what you do – and we’ll tell you upfront if you’re better off in a lower tier.

What happens if there’s an incident on site? Do I call you?

Depends on your package. Tradies Pack gives you a clear written incident response procedure so you and your team know exactly what to do in the first 30 minutes – who to call, what to document, what to report. Sorted Pro adds phone support during business hours. Sorted Partner includes on-call response, so yes, you call us – day or night – and we help you through it. Getting the first hour right matters more than almost anything else.

I’ve already got some safety docs – maybe from a template site or an old employer. Do I start from scratch?

Usually not. Bring what you’ve got. Most of the time we can salvage 30–50% of existing documents, rework what’s outdated, and only build new what’s missing. You’re paying for the system that fits your business, not for us to retype things you already have.

How is this different from buying a $99 template pack online?

A template pack is a stack of generic documents that may or may not match your actual work. If the regulator asks how you assessed the risk in your specific operation and your answer is ‘I downloaded it’, that’s not a defence. We build a system around how you actually work, sit with you to make sure it’s understood, and stay in contact afterwards. The difference shows up the day something goes wrong – or the day a head contractor audits you.

How much of my time will this take? I’m already flat out.

Most clients spend 2–3 hours total in the setup phase – usually one scoping call and one walkthrough once the system is built. We do the heavy lifting. You’ll save that time back many times over because your team will know exactly where to find what they need instead of asking you.

What happens after the system is set up? Do you disappear?

No. Every package includes a check-in after handover to make sure things are landing properly. Sorted Pro and Sorted Partner include ongoing support – phone advice, document updates as your business changes, and help when you need it most. We’d rather catch a problem early than be called in to clean one up later.
